Blessed are the Focused

Shift your focus back to the one,

The one who created you,

The one who formed you,

 

Dad you preserved me,

You saved me,

You gave me wisdom.

 

Those I knew in my childhood have fallen away,

They gave into temptation,

They lived to regret it.

But you kept me from shame.

 

Though the enemy had an idea for my life,

But you had another plan.

 

In your rescue of me,

You rescued many others as well,

 

Teach me to be content in what you have given me,

Teach me to follow your ways,

Teach me to praise you in sorrow,

Teach me to worship you in gladness.

 

Blessed are the faithful,

Blessed are those who stay loyal to the one,

Blessed are those who turn their focus back to the king.
